Q: How much does it cost to enter the awards?

A: There is no charge for submitting your work into the Axco Global Insurance Awards 2024.

Q: How long is the entry form?

A: There are 5 main criteria sections, each carrying a maximum word count. Entries will typically be between 500-1000 words. There is an upload opportunity to submit supporting evidence. Evidence must be clearly referenced from your entry form and should be compiled into a single PDF containing any relevant documentation or imagery.  

Q: What is the eligibility period for an entry?

A: Project based entries are required to be currently active or if completed, to have been completed within the past 12-18 months. People nominated for specific awards should either be in post or should have left their post no longer than 12-18 months prior. Equally evidence for any submitted entries should be current or relevant to the past 12-18 months. 

Q: Why can't I enter myself for some categories? 

A: To maintain the credibility and standard of the awards, Axco Awards have decided this year that for individual categories a nominator must submit the entry. We encourage individuals who would like to put themselves forwards to find an internal or external champion who can endorse their achievements over the past 12-18 months. For categories where we are asking for Suppliers to enter in partnership with a Client by naming that Client and gaining their endorsement, Axco Awards wishes to celebrate the collaborative efforts of suppliers working with businesses to drive advancement in global insurance.   

Q: If I’m shortlisted, what support will I be given to help me promote this to my colleagues and network?

If you enter and are successful in the judging process to be shortlisted, you will automatically receive a finalist logo for your website and email signatures.

Q: If I win, what marketing assets will be provided to help me celebrate this with my network?

If you are awarded as the Winner or Highly Commended for your category, you will go on to receive a Winner Success Pack that will include:

  • Finalist certificate Press release template
  • On-stage photo of you and your team receiving the award
  • Updated banner / email signature
  • Winners video (up to 1 month after the event)
  • Announced in the ‘Winners Showcase’, to be published by Axco in the summer of 2024
Q: Who will read my entry and is it confidential?

A: All entries submitted to the Axco Global Insurance Awards will be read by our appointed judges, Axco staff, and internal awards administrative teams. If you have specific requirements with regards to confidentiality, please contact our team to discuss if it is possible that arrangements can be made for you. Axco Awards would like to share best practice with our community and part of the agreement you enter in to with Axco Awards is to share your projects, people, and organisation on our Axco Awards platform. However, you are welcome to opt out of this. For further clarification please contact our team.

Q: Do I have to attend the awards ceremony if I enter or am short listed?​

A: No, there is no mandatory attendance at the awards ceremony in April as a result of a successful entry. The Axco Global Insurance Awards team would encourage you to celebrate your success and be part of the event. Please contact our team to discuss this further.

A: Yes at any time, just get in touch with our team.

Q: When will I hear about my submission?​

A: The shortlist will be announced on 5th February 2024. Winners will be announced in the ceremony taking place on 18th April 2024. For attendance queries please contact our team.

Q: When will I receive feedback on my entry?

A: We cannot release any feedback before the awards ceremony has passed to ensure we have 100% of our results without prejudicing the result or informing the winners before this date. Post event, we will provide feedback on submissions on request only basis. Please contact Awards Support for more information.
