This award recognises a multinational insurance professional in an insurance or reinsurance company, providing the full scope of managing multinational operations in the business. They will be able to demonstrate how, through agile working, innovation and dedication, they are supporting and enabling the organisation to conduct its global operations successfully.  

Judges will be looking for how the individual has supported the business in the last 12-18 months ahead of the entry deadline, with evidence to support how they have handled complexities in the regulatory landscape, managed new and emerging risks, implemented innovative strategies to mitigate risk, developed new business opportunities and retained current clients through effective relationships and improved customer experiences.  

The winner of this award will be delivering exemplary professional standards and working in a flexible, adaptable and efficient way to provide full business coverage on all global insurance issues.  

Eligibility

  • This award is open to all multinational insurance individuals within insurance and reinsurance companies. 
  • Entries must demonstrate evidence from the last 12-18 months, up to the awards entry deadline.  
  • Entries for this award must be endorsed by a Manager, Stakeholder or Colleague. 
  • We welcome entries recognising individuals working for businesses in the UK and Europe. 

Ambition

  • Any relevant information on the structure, scope and complexities within the business that will help judges understand the individual’s contribution and performance. 
  • An understanding of any specific challenges the individual and business has been facing in the last 12-18 months, that set the scene for the entry. 
  • Please describe the ambition and goal for the individual over the last year and any drivers for improvement or change. 

Excellence

  • Examples of excellence in their work, approach and delivery in terms of skills demonstrated, best practices implemented, activity undertaken, and responsibilities executed.
  • Show how they have been an exemplary role model or case study for other global insurance professionals, other teams in the global insurance sector, and for the wider multinational community.
  • How did the individual support the business needs over the last year, how have they been flexible to adapt and innovate to deliver excellence? 

Innovation

  • Examples of how the individual has shown creativity and agility to meet challenges in changing markets and exceed goals.  
  • Relevant details about how they have used fresh and successful new models and strategies to operate successfully within changing regulatory environments and challenging new markets. 
  • Details on how they have responded with innovation to major events. 
  • Illustrate any innovation using the latest technology, processes and communication channels. 

Impact

  • Relevant detail to support your entry that illustrate the benefits to the team, your company and the wider insurance sector.
  • Examples could include developing new clients, increases in revenue, new partnerships, improved processes and relationships 
  • How has the individual impacted on the business and other stakeholders? 
  • How the individual delivered impact within resource constraints and value for the business?  

Customer Experience

  • Details of how they have excelled in meeting the needs of the client.
  • Examples to show how they have developed effective client relationships that have impacted positively on the business 
  • Illustrate how the individual strengthened good outcomes and/or improved the experience for customers

 Endorsement 

  • Please submit as a minimum one testimonial – with the opportunity to provide up to 3 - who support your submission. This can be a manager, colleague or wider business partner or stakeholder.  
  • Each testimonial should verify the success of the individual in the last 12-18 months.
  • Please keep each testimonial to a max of 100 words.
